The Alliance promoted its project objectives on social media on Nov 29, 2022, resulting in $1,800 in donations to the group’s Mid-Shore Community Foundation fund. Donations were from Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Gannon ($500), Mr. Robert A. Dymond ($500), and Mr. and Mrs. James D. Neal ($800).
Alliance Vice Chair Eric Johnson shared the following post on several town and county Facebook groups:
“QAC will soon have a “Center for the Warrior Family.” Sponsored by QAC Veteran and Military Support Alliance (VAMSA). We are working with national partners and regional models to open a “center of excellence.”
We will offer our veterans, military, family members, and caregivers a much-needed resource center that offers navigation services, referrals, peer support, education, and much more.
