Matt Elliott - Howling Songs (2lps) (LP)Howling Songs is a dark meditation on isolation and despair. Concluding a trilogy that began with Drinking Songs, Howling Songs is perhaps Matt Elliott's darkest album. Its haunting compositions feature plaintive vocals and minimalist arrangements, creating a near funereal atmosphere. Themes of isolation and despair dominate the record, but glimpses of hope emerge through poignant, heartfelt melodies, showcasing Elliott's unique ability to balance
