Very often the only way to date a bike is by the rear hub so upgrade your bike to a 1942. I know the 1904 1940 is obvious on this but the actual assembly date is the smaller stamped 42 under the eagle. Torpedo is very well known and reliable. This is so beautiful! It's very good quality. I got this for my daughter to keep her jewelry in and it's perfect. It has three floors, the top opens for a ring compartment, and the sides open for necklaces. All the compartments have pink velvet on the inside. I really like the size of this, not too big but not too small. It fits perfectly on an over the toilet shelf or the bathroom counter. A great but with a decent price.
