Vintage Grimwades 'Alliance' Staffordshire Plate - Teal Blue (25cm)A lovely example of Staffordshire pottery by Grimwades. This piece from the 'Alliance' range features a deep teal blue rim that offers a bold pop of colour rarely seen in traditional blue and white collections. While it has served many meals in its lifetime, its true calling now is vertical. It would look lovely as the focal point in a curated plate wall arrangement. Condition Report: Vintage condition with stories to tell. The gold rim has rubbed off

I use this as a "catchall". A place to stash things like my wallet and keys when I enter the door, so that I don't use them (I had been prone to that!). It serves it's purpose well. It's both sturdy and attractive, and a good size for a "catchall". Recommended for those like me who need such things.

Good quality, orange color

The quality is surprisingly good but the color is much more orange toned in person.
