This is one of my favorite shirts- not to loose, but not too tight- has some shape built in. I teach yoga and can face my class on hands and knees and not give a show- I'm not prude, but it can be distracting to have a shirt gaping open... the cotton, yes, it's going to age quicker than some fabrics, but I like the feel of it, plus it releases odors more quickly. I have both large and xl size- just depends on my outfit and how I'm feeling-i'm in between sizes so the L is a little more fitted, the xl still looks cute, but gives a little room, esp in the waist- its not as flattering, but cooler and comfy for days I need. I think this shrunk/tightened up a bit in the wash/dry, but not a ton (I don't remember, so think it wasn't much, anyway).
